The High Desert Men’s Summit 2007 is pleased to announce the selection of Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon (PRCCO) as the principal non-profit charity partner for its March 16-17 event at the Deschutes County Expo Center. PRCCO is a non-profit faith-based service providing free and confidential help and hope to anyone faced with a pregnancy. Complimentary services include pregnancy tests, peer counseling, and information about sexually transmitted diseases, the risks and effects of abortion, fetal development, and the importance of sexual abstinence with singles. PRCCO clients also receive maternity/baby clothing, baby furniture, and referrals to physicians, adoption agencies and local support groups. Practical, emotional and spiritual assistance to teens, women and men is also available as well as abstinence education classes in both public and private schools to help teens avoid unplanned pregnancies and learn critical thinking skills. Administration is located at 1051 NE 4th Street, Suite 102, in Bend, with branches in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Prineville and Redmond.
